The Proximity WebLab Licensing structure offers a simple, flexible approach to providing a fully Content Managed web presence.

How does it work?

There are no 'per CPU' restriction and no 'per seat' licenses you need to purchase which makes Proximity WebLab-CMS a powerful contender in the CMS arena.  Our license is based on 'amount of sites' and does not restrict how many or how few users you may want to have access to your editing environment.

There are no restrictions about internal or external facing websites either, so you can use WebLab-CMS for both your intranet, extranet and/or your public web facing site plus it offers multiple website hosting within a single instance of WebLab.

Depending on the license you purchase, the amount of sites and functionality you can use within the product varies, so depending on your needs, Proximity WebLab-CMS has a license which will fit your budget.

What's the catch?

Well, there isn't one really.  Proximity WebLab does what it says on the box with one licensing restriction:

For WebLab-CMS Home, Lite, Standard and Enterprise, all sites you create in your version of the product must be for businesses or websites owned by the licensee.  If you intend to build sites for other parties (ie, if you are a development or design house wishing to host your own client websites in WebLab-CMS), then you must purchase the 'Designer' license.  This license opens up the license restriction to allow any business/website to be hosted within your version of WebLab and increases the amount of sites you can build indefinitely.
