Browser Based Authoring Environments

From a desktop administrators point of view, WebLab is a dream to roll out across a multi user environment. The authoring environment is totally web browser based, meaning any PC (Windows or Apple) can access a WebLab environment right now, with no additional software needing to be installed before use.

As the WebLab Administrator, you control the users security access, user roles and privileges across the application, allowing Content Authors, Approvers, Template Designers, Content Translators etc to be added to the system quickly and simply through your own administration interface.

WebLab runs on multiple platforms and browser environments - we've even edited sites for customers using an iPhone!

Hosting WebLab

While our initial purchase offer of any WebLab product includes the first 12 months hosting of the software and your website(s) on our own servers, you have the freedom to install it on your own server infrastructure if you prefer.

The following requirements should be met in this case:

• Windows based server platform - Single/Dual Core
• Min 1GB RAM - 2GB+ Recommended
• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server with IIS6 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Web Edition+, IIS7 
• Access to Microsoft SQL Server instance - 2000, 2005 or 2008 (Express editions supported*)
• Min 1Gb Storage space for WebLab Application (5Gb preferred)
